GDPR & EU Data Protection Compliance

FindMyWay Ukraine is designed to comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Ukraine’s Law on Protection of Personal Data (Law No. 2297-VI).

  • ✓No personal data is collected or stored. FindMyWay does not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, IP addresses for identification, or any other personally identifiable information (PII).
  • ✓No user accounts or profiles exist. There is no registration, no login, and no user database. You are anonymous.
  • ✓Conversations are not stored. All AI coaching conversations exist only during your active browser session and are permanently discarded when you close the page. They cannot be recovered by anyone.
  • ✓No data is shared with third parties for marketing, advertising, profiling, or any commercial purpose. There is no personal data to share.
  • ✓No cookies are used for tracking. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, retargeting, or cross-site tracking of any kind.
  • ✓Legal basis: Because we do not process personal data, consent under GDPR Article 6 is not required. Where minimal anonymous analytics are collected, our legal basis is legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)).

Schools, counselors, parents, and NGOs can recommend FindMyWay to students with confidence that no personal data is collected or at risk — whether the student is in Ukraine, the EU, or anywhere else.

FindMyWay відповідає Закону України «Про захист персональних даних» (Закон № 2297-VI). Ми не збираємо, не зберігаємо і не обробляємо персональні дані користувачів. Усі розмови з ШІ-тренером існують лише під час активної сесії браузера і повністю видаляються після закриття сторінки.

What FindMyWay Is

FindMyWay Ukraine (findmyway-ua.vercel.app) is a free AI career exploration tool for Ukrainian students. It helps young people explore career pathways through guided conversation with an AI coach. The service is provided by Transform Learning, founded by Jeff Ritter, PhD.

Information We Do NOT Collect

FindMyWay does not collect:

  • Names, email addresses, or contact information
  • Student IDs, school names, or grade levels
  • Login credentials (no accounts exist)
  • Chat transcripts or conversation history
  • Career assessment results or reports
  • IP addresses or device fingerprints for identification

Minimal Anonymous Data Collected

We collect only minimal, anonymous data to keep the service running:

  • Anonymous analytics via Vercel Analytics — page views, general geographic region (country level), browser type. This data is aggregated and cannot identify individual users.
  • AI conversation data in transit — when you chat with the AI coach, your messages are sent to Anthropic’s Claude API for processing. These messages are processed in real-time and are not stored by FindMyWay. Anthropic’s data retention policies apply to their API service.

Your Rights Under GDPR

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access — request what personal data we hold about you (answer: none)
  • Erasure — request deletion of your data (answer: there is nothing to delete)
  • Portability — request a copy of your data (answer: no data exists)
  • Object — object to processing of your data (answer: no personal data is processed)
  • Complaint — file a complaint with your national data protection authority

Because FindMyWay does not collect or store personal data, these rights are satisfied by default.

Children’s Privacy

FindMyWay is designed for students (typically ages 14–18). Because we do not collect any personal information from users of any age, no parental consent is required under GDPR Article 8 or any child protection regulation.

Paid Features

FindMyWay offers optional paid coaching sessions processed through Stripe. If a user chooses to purchase a session, Stripe collects payment information directly. FindMyWay does not see or store credit card numbers. Stripe’s privacy policy governs payment data handling. Stripe is GDPR-compliant.

Third-Party Services

All third-party services used are GDPR-compliant and maintain appropriate data processing agreements.
